Meet Our Administrative Director: Martha Wossom
Martha Wossom joins Arizona STEAM Academy as our Administrative Director, bringing a strong background in education, mathematics, and business.
Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Martha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and Business from the College of Santa Fe. She is also the mother of three children, all of whom participated in specialized educational programs for gifted students. Her experiences as both an educator and a parent have helped shape her belief in recognizing and supporting the individual strengths of every learner.

As Administrative Director, Martha brings her educational experience, organizational skills, and student-centered perspective to Arizona STEAM Academy. We are excited to welcome her to our leadership team as we continue building an environment where students are encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their interests, and recognize the value of what they can contribute.
B. Angele Kunkowski – Founder/Instructional Director
B. Angele Kunkowski is the Founder and Director of Arizona STEAM Academy. She holds an Associate of Arts from Western New Mexico University and has studied Psychology and Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona, with additional certifications and training in Play Therapy, Modern Classrooms, Breathe For Change, STEM education, robotics, and cybersecurity instruction. Her experience includes AmeriCorps service, youth programming, curriculum development, tutoring, educational technology, community outreach, and coaching CyberPatriot teams, including a first-place state finish. Angele founded Arizona STEAM Academy to provide neurodivergent and twice-exceptional students with individualized, mastery-based education that builds on their strengths, interests, and potential.
