This week, our students had the exciting opportunity to visit City Hall and meet with Mayor McCaa. During the visit, students toured the City Council Chambers, learning firsthand how local government operates.
The highlight of the day was a Q&A session with Mayor McCaa, where students asked thoughtful questions about leadership, community decision-making, and the role of city government in shaping the future of our community. The Mayor’s insights gave our students a deeper understanding of civic engagement and the importance of active participation in their community.
We are grateful to Mayor McCaa and the City Hall staff for welcoming our students and providing such an engaging and educational experience. Opportunities like these bring classroom learning to life and inspire our students to see themselves as future leaders.
